ABOUT THE BRAND
The company was founded in 1967 and mainly offered men's ties. It gained prominence when it opened its own boutique in Bloomingdale's in 1969. Ralph Lauren opened a store in Beverly Hills in 1971; that year, it launched its Polo line of womenswear, which led to the brand becoming more popular due to its perky and peppy designs.
