It derives its unique nomenclature from L that stands for Lacoste, 1 to symbolize Petit Pique, for the material used, 2 for the short sleeves, and the final 12 is to represent the number of prototypes tried before the creation of the final product. Just like the color yellow, the perfume represents vivacity and positive energy. The fragrance gets its fresh fruity scent from the top notes of tonic water, grapefruit and pink pepper and its woody fragrance from the base notes of amber, vetiver, and cypress.
