Tommy Bahama’s Fragrance Journey
In 2005, Tommy Bahama launched its first fragrance, marking the beginning of a highly successful perfume line. Over the years, several other fragrances have followed, including Tommy Bahama for Women. This white floral fragrance features notes of cactus flower, clementine, bergamot, Hawaiian tuberose, frangipani, honeysuckle, exotic woods, nectarine, and musk.
For men, Tommy Bahama Men blends spicy and herbal notes such as coriander, ginger, amber, patchouli, musk, pepper, and bergamot, resulting in a fresh yet warm fragrance.
In 2006, the brand expanded further with Very Cool, offering distinct versions for both men and women. The women’s version features clementine, pomegranate, tangerine, hibiscus, cassia, cactus flower, nectarine, and musk. The men’s version, crafted by Harry Fremont and Ilias Ermenidis, combines ginger, mandarin orange, bergamot, nutmeg, paprika, and vetiver.
In 2007, the brand introduced Set Sail St. Barts for both men and women. Designed to capture the essence of the island, the men’s version features notes of lime, tequila, guava, green notes, salt, musk, vanilla, and palm leaf, while the women’s fragrance highlights tequila, lime, floral notes, sand, guaiac wood, and musk.
The following year, in 2008, Tommy Bahama launched Set Sail South Seas. The women’s fragrance combines florals and citrus, with notes of apple, pear, marigold, and water lily. The men’s version features lime, mandarin orange, violet, juniper, cognac, cardamom, rum, and amber.
