The definition of a self-made woman, Jessica McClintock started her fashion career without any formal fashion education. Taught by her grandmother, a seamstress, she took the fashion industry by storm with her luxurious formal gowns. Because of her success, she was able to acquire Gunne Sax, another popular clothing brand. With the backing of her new acquisition, she moved on from simple success, stealing the industry’s spotlight and etching her name into fashion history. The immense popularity of her clothing lines prompted her to launch the first Jessica McClintock fragrance line in 1988. Now, the brand still holds itself to the same standard of quality, releasing flawlessly designed clothing and fragrances that impress the industry time and time again.
